Future development of wire drawing products
Wire drawing products (fire retardant cloth, plastic woven bags, tarpaulin, ropes, etc.) have always consumed a high proportion of PP resin in China. It is a large shopping mall for polypropylene consumption in China, mainly used for food, fertilizers and cement package of. The production of flat yarn and tarpaulin cover in 2000 consumed approximately 3.18 million tons of polypropylene, accounting for 51.5% of total polypropylene consumption. In recent years, about 50% of domestic polypropylene consumption has converged on woven products. In 2002, China ’s output of chemical fertilizer, cement and grain has reached 37 million tons, 730 million tons and 457 million tons respectively. Other sugar, salt, and industrial product packaging also require certain polypropylene woven bags, so only the packaging of these products The required polypropylene will exceed 2 million tons, accounting for about 51.5% of domestic polypropylene consumption, during which heavy and flexible woven bag materials are about 130,000 tons; from 1996 to 2004, it accounted for more than 60%, which is the largest PP resin. Consumer sector. In recent years, due to the development of PP injection products and packaging films, the consumption structure of PP has gradually changed, and the proportion for drawing has decreased, but it is still a large area of PP resin consumption. In 2003, the output of domestic drawing-grade PP was about 2.6 million tons, accounting for 56.6% of the total consumption. On the one hand, the drawn products will be unfolded to large and heavy-duty packaging bags, that is, to the direction of container bags, and on the other hand, they will be unfolded to high-strength, antistatic, and aging-resistant packaging bags.
In 2003, China's output of woven bags alone reached 26.8 billion pieces. Except for 1.3 billion pieces exported, the rest was domestic consumption, and they were mainly combined in the fields of cement, fertilizers, chemicals, grain, feed, and raw salt. It is estimated that the production of fire-retardant and flame-retardant cloths and the domestic apparent consumption of wire drawing products in China will continue to increase. It is estimated that the average annual growth rate from 2000 to 2005 is 6-7%, and the average annual growth rate from 2005 to 2010 is 4-5%. In 2005, the production, export and domestic apparent consumption of PP woven bags in China will reach 2.21 million tons, 150,000 tons and 2.06 million tons, respectively. In 2010, they will reach 2.69 million tons, 200,000 tons and 2.49 million tons. Estimates will continue to be added in the future, and the demand for exports and domestic main shopping malls can increase.
In the appropriate period of time, the demand for fire-retardant and flame-retardant cloth products in China will still be very large. Industrial development will expand on the one hand to large and heavy-duty packaging bags, and on the other hand, to low-gram, small packaging bags. But the proportion will continue to decline. Therefore, domestic PP producers should strive to increase the output of special materials, gradually reduce the proportion of wire drawing products, and get used to the changes in the structure of mall demand to achieve better benefits. Steel shopping malls, Shanghai Petrochemical, Qilu Petrochemical, Yanhua and other enterprises have expanded in this direction in the past two years and achieved good results.
